Want to burn more calories without the sweat?

When you can't find time to workout, you can still burn calories. This is a list of some very basic things you can do to drop some extra pounds. Try to incorporate some of these things this week. Here are some examples:
  • Eat breakfast. Eating breakfast will jump start your metabolism. Coffee or soda should not be consumed before your breakfast. However, if you must have caffeine, it's best to wait at least two hours after eating breakfast. Also, if you are a breakfast person, try to consume some type of protein or fruity shake.
  • Complete a nice short walk during lunch. A nice short walk before eating lunch is a great way to burn calories. This is a great way to gradually get into a workout mode.
  • When driving or sitting in a chair, keep your abs tight. Keeping your abs tight as much as possible is an easy way of working your abs without a lot of effort.
  • Take the stairs more often. It takes 3500 calories to burn a pound, so this is another way to assist you in reaching your weight loss goals.
  • Don't park at the front of the parking lot. By using this technique, you could easily walk close to a mile a day without even realizing it.
  • In the morning, be sure to stretch for at least 5 minutes. Stretching in the morning gets your blood flowing and improves your flexibility. It's a very relaxing way to burn some extra calories easily.
  • Keep a healthy snack bag with you. The purpose of this is to enable you to give the fast food restaurants a rest. It will also assist you in never being hunger or full; which is key for speeding up your metabolism.
  • Sit on your exercise ball instead of always sitting on a chair or couch.Using the exercise ball for a chair is a great way to give the couch a rest and work your core muscle. This will also assist you with improving your posture.
